Goals of the Institute
IRGESA seeks to provide theological reflection, training, research and capacity for effective participation of church and other religious communities in good governance and care for the environment.
Broad Objectives of IRGESA
- To offer programmes on religion, governance and the environment
- To promote research on the interface between religion governance and the environment
- To facilitate dialogues and symposia on religion governance and the environment
- To educate communities on the interface between religion, governance and the environment
Programmes of IRGESA
- Offer teaching at Honours, Masters and Doctoral levels on the areas mentioned above
- Develop and disseminate research on Religion, Governance and the Environment
- Symposiums, Lectures, conferences and theological cafes in the campus
- Community Engagement; workshops in local communities on Religion, Governance and the Environment
